Al fresco tablescaping

Everything tastes better outside. Here are my top buys to make your al fresco dining last a little longer this summer.

The key to enjoying a relaxed meal outside is to serve food that can be shared easily and use candles and outdoor lighting to elevate the look. Look for vintage cutlery, big rustic sharing platters, bread baskets and recycled glass carafes and make sure there are plenty of comfortable cushions to sit on and warm blankets to wrap up in when the evenings draw in.

The trick is to keep things natural as we move into autumn and not go full on summer brights. I hope this has inspired you to eat outside for longer this summer.
