Contemporary house, outskirts of Bath
This contemporary house sits in a quiet village outside Bath, surrounded by countryside. Set over three floors, with a striking cantilevered first floor and a mixture of smooth and rough stone, the house has a strong architectural presence and generous views over its rural setting.
The clients had relocated from London and brought with them a collection of designer furniture and accessories, including pieces from Ligne Roset, Eames, Foscarini and other much-loved contemporary brands and designers. The brief was to combine these existing pieces with new furniture, lighting, window treatments and accessories, creating a cohesive interior that felt considered and comfortable within the architecture of the house.
