Two-bedroom apartment in Lansdown Crescent, Bath
We were asked to design and refurbish this two-bedroom apartment in Lansdown Crescent for our clients who live abroad. The first phase included the large drawing room and kitchen.
Our brief for the drawing room was loosely based on the concept of ‘A Contemporary Gentleman’s Club’ with a focus on blue tones.
We used some of the client’s existing wood and leather furniture and added new pieces - a corner sofa in boucle, armchairs from Rowen & Wren in navy velvet, a dark oak dining table from Barker and Stonehouse, and OKA dining chairs upholstered in sea blue velvet.
We added marble, dark stained wood and antique brass cabinets from Atkin & Thyme, and lighting and accessories from RV Astley and Corston.
The room was painted using soft grey paint colours from Farrow and Ball combined with Stiffkey Blue on the chimney breast and shelving coupled with Little Green Carlton House wallpaper. The room was finished with a new pale grey soft velvet carpet to add a touch of luxury.
The existing kitchen units were repainted with Little Green paints and the walls were painted using Farrow & Ball colours. New flooring from Karndean was installed.
