We completed a complete redesign of a lovely Regency villa is in the south of Bath.\u00a0On the first floor there are four double bedrooms, a bathroom and a shower room.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We designed the bedrooms to celebrate the client\u2019s love of pattern and colour and to create comfortable spaces for the family to enjoy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The first bedroom leading from the first-floor landing was designed as a guest room and for my client\u2019s daughter to use on her return from university. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The room had a pretty tiled fireplace and a nice big window which provided the room with character and plenty of light.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The walls were painted in Farrow & Ball\u2019s Slipper Satin and the woodwork in Pointing to provide a neutral background.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We then picked out the colours from the tiles on the fireplace for the accent colours of buttercup yellow and black in the rest of the design.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Love Your Home bed had a yellow headboard and we dressed the window with a blind made from Design\u00a0Archives Tree of Life linen in Charcoal.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The pendant light was the\u00a0Conchitta glass and brass chandelier from Pooky and the side lights were small Richmond lights from Corston Architectural.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The bedside tables are from the Chantilly collection in Dusky Black from The Cotswold Company and the little rattan chair is from\u00a0Nordina Home.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Next to the bedroom is a shower room with a high ceiling. We painted the walls and ceiling in the same colour – Joa’s White from Farrow & Ball – to reduce the visual look of the high ceiling and replaced the quadrant shower with a walk-in shower from Mayflower with a return\/flipper shower screen to stop water going everywhere.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Southwold herringbone floor tiles in walnut and the Volterra Tortono matt wall tiles inspired by Italian marble, are both from Fired Earth.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The blind is made from Jane Churchill\u2019s Lola Flower fabric in the pink and green colourway.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In the main bedroom we wallpapered the walls in Blomsterfr\u00f6jd from\u00a0Borasterpeter.\u00a0Featuring a delightfully dense and decorative Arts and Crafts inspired floral, it created a cosy feel for the room.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We reinstated the shutters in this room which negated the need for curtains or blinds and allowed the wallpaper to be the star of the show!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The ceiling was painted in Little Greene\u2019s Pale Clay and the woodwork in Farrow & Ball\u2019s Pointing. We carpeted the room in a lovely neutral shade from Crucial Trading from Capitol Carpets in Bath.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The bed is the\u00a0Isabella Bed with a buttoned high headboard and storage underneath from Love Your Home. The side tables are from Scumble Goosie, painted in Farrow & Ball\u2019s Skimming Stone. The dressing table is the Sienna in weathered oak from Feather & Black and the little ballet pink velvet pouffe is the Dylan Footstool from Love Your Home.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The beautiful chandelier is the Piccolo Palermo from Pure White Lines in clear glass and satin brass. Inspired by the glamour of the 1970s, these lights are constructed from hexagonal tubes of coloured or clear glass delicately suspended from an iron frame. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The little side lights with alabaster shades are from Corston Architectural.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In the main bathroom we installed a wonderful bath from Ashton & Bentley provided by Mayflower Bathrooms. We had the side of the bath painted in Jitney from Farrow & Ball. A\u00a0luxurious Japanese bidet toilet adds to the sophisticated modern look.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The walls were painted in Stirabout from Farrow & Ball, and we built a bespoke vanity unit spraypainted in the same colour to create an uncluttered clean space. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

\"\"<\/a><\/figure>\n\n\n\n

The Opaline Fitzroy pendant light from Pure White Lines adds to the classic yet contemporary look. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The relaxed Roman blind is made from Selena in Ivory from Colefax & Fowler. Selena has a graceful repeat, and the beautiful detailing expected from a distinctive Colefax embroidery. It features rich clotted cream flower heads on a taupe herringbone background. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

\"\"<\/a><\/figure>\n\n\n\n

Brass and gold accessories gave a glamorous look to the room.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In this pretty bedroom, we painted the room in Farrow & Ball\u2019s Turret White and spray painted the bespoke wardrobe in the same colour.\u00a0\u00a0We reused\u00a0existing Feather & Black furniture in the rest of the room.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The full-length curtains were made from Warner House\u2019s Paradiso Midnight printed linen mix from Jane Clayton. The toile design is a rebirth of a mid-18th century copper plate print from Bromley Hall.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The chandelier is the small Capulet chandelier in glass and brass from Pooky and gives a pretty look to the understated.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This pretty little bedroom was given a feminine look with\u00a0Divine Savages Little Botanize wallpaper in Ecru Chintz paper.\u00a0This beautiful botanical wallpaper with trailing foliage is a timeless design of delicate blue with soft rose details and a warm white background.\u00a0The ceiling and woodwork were painted in Farrow & Ball\u2019s Skimming Stone.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
