This\u00a0timeless, deep and dramatic blue\u00a0has green undertones and works well in any size room. The\u00a0Skylar floor lamp\u00a0is by Castro Lighting by Olson &amp; Baker \u2013 a stunning\u00a0glass and brass statement piece that sits beside the\u00a0bespoke DJ sideboard made by John Jacques of Radiance Furniture, was designed by John\u00a0Jacques and\u00a0Clair Strong Interior Design.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full is-resized\"><a href=\"http:\/\/www.clairstrong.co.uk\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/07\/Drawing-Room-4.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.clairstrong.co.uk\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/07\/Drawing-Room-4.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-5973\" width=\"838\" height=\"1257\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.clairstrong.co.uk\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/07\/Drawing-Room-4.jpg 600w, https:\/\/www.clairstrong.co.uk\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/07\/Drawing-Room-4-200x300.jpg 200w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 838px) 100vw, 838px\" \/><\/a><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Above the DJ sideboard sit a\u00a0set of 12 mirrors in antiqued mirror glass from The Looking Glass of Bath.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Alcoves either side of the fireplace were made into two drinks cabinets. We commissioned a bespoke piece of artwork from\u00a0Catarina Diaz, a\u00a0Portuguese artist based in London.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Study<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>The study was painted in a combination of neutrals from Farrow and Ball \u2013 Bone, Shadow White and School House White.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>We used the clients existing leopard skin rug and lacquered cabinets.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><a href=\"http:\/\/www.clairstrong.co.uk\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/07\/Study-2.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"900\" height=\"600\" src=\"http:\/\/www.clairstrong.co.uk\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/07\/Study-2.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-5976\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.clairstrong.co.uk\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/07\/Study-2.jpg 900w, https:\/\/www.clairstrong.co.uk\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/07\/Study-2-300x200.jpg 300w, https:\/\/www.clairstrong.co.uk\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/07\/Study-2-768x512.jpg 768w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 900px) 100vw, 900px\" \/><\/a><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>The desk is the Eden Rock desk in dark cherry from Roche Bobois.\u00a0Designed by\u00a0Sacha Lak<strong>i<\/strong>c, the\u00a0desk mixes references to Louis XVI style and post-war American industrial design. The top is upholstered in a gold faux leather and conceals a storage drawer, while the detailing in brushed brass elegantly highlights the lines of this piece.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>We added a classic Eames Lobby Chair&nbsp;in chocolate leather. The armchair was originally designed by Charles and Ray Eames in 1960 to furnish lobby areas in New York&#8217;s Time Life Building.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full is-resized\"><a href=\"http:\/\/www.clairstrong.co.uk\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/07\/Study-1.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.clairstrong.co.uk\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/07\/Study-1.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-5975\" width=\"835\" height=\"1253\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.clairstrong.co.uk\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/07\/Study-1.jpg 600w, https:\/\/www.clairstrong.co.uk\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/07\/Study-1-200x300.jpg 200w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 835px) 100vw, 835px\" \/><\/a><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>The&nbsp;Bert Frank Glaive&nbsp;desk lamp&nbsp;is&nbsp;inspired by the glamour of the 1930\u2019s.
