We made new Roman blinds in a Jane Churchill striped fabric in navy and white.<\/p>\n\n\n\n <\/p>\n\n\n\n The little girl\u2019s room was painted in Peignoir by Farrow and Ball \u2013 a pretty grey-pink inspired by the 19th-century garment of the same name. It has a unique depth that brings walls to life. We fitted pink and white linen blinds made from Ada & Ina\u2019s Inga Peony linen fabric with pom pom trim. <\/p>\n\n\n\n <\/p>\n\n\n\n In both children\u2019s rooms we used Start Shelves by Great Little Trading Company. These clever, shallow ledges are great for storing picture books in nurseries or reading books and comics in children’s bedrooms; the gallery style design keeps books tidy but easy to find. <\/p>\n\n\n\n <\/p>\n\n\n\n The guestroom was also painted in Peignoir and blinds made in Matthew Williamson Belvoir Water Lily by Osborne & Little. The room doubles up as extra office space.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n <\/p>\n\n\n\n In the playroom, we added a few accessories to give personality to this beautifully large room with three windows bringing in plenty of light.<\/p>\n\n\n\n We installed three Roman blinds in Ian Mankin vintage stripe design in Airforce Blue and made matching blue cushions for the window seats. <\/p>\n\n\n\n A Swyft Model 04 Sofa Bed in Linen Seagrass provided extra sleeping space for children coming to stay. Designed with practicality, comfort and style in mind, this sofa bed is the equivalent of a double bed and is a wonderful space-saving solution for busy family homes. <\/p>\n\n\n\n <\/p>\n\n\n\n The \u2018Travel The World\u2019 rug by Great Little Trading Company is a lovely detailed rug. More than a soft place to sit, it’s an opportunity for children to ask questions and understand more about the world we live in and the animals who inhabit our planet alongside us. It was even crowned Best Interiors Product Design, Accessory at the Junior Design Awards 2021.<\/p>\n\n\n\n The Kitchenette on the half landing was painted in Farrow & Ball Mizzle and the bathrooms were redecorated in Wevet. <\/p>\n\n\n\n The attic rooms are now a soft, light comfortable place to sleep and play for the children and provide useful guest accommodation away from the main body of the house. <\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":" We recently completed the complete redecoration of a Grade 1 listed Georgian house in the centre of Bath.
