I\u2019m really excited about a project I\u2019m currently working on for the YAA Centre in London<\/a>. It\u2019s London\u2019s biggest hub for Carnival Arts and it has showcased the best of African Caribbean arts and culture for 4 decades! There are events and activities throughout the year, but the centre really comes to life during carnival season. It\u2019s a really important part of the vibrant London community so I\u2019m thrilled to be working with them.<\/p>\n

I\u2019ve been tasked with refurnishing the centre\u2019s cafe, the goal is to warm it up and make it more inviting. I\u2019ve already done a quick survey of the space and now comes the fun part – sourcing furniture! We\u2019ve only got a short turnaround of a few weeks, so I\u2019ll be able to share some photos of the finished space soon. Of course, you can also check out the cafe in person, as it will be open for business in mid-January.<\/p>\n
