Vintage advertising posters, record covers and book jackets are just a few examples. What\u2019s important when choosing art, is to buy something you like. It needs to suit the room, of course \u2013 but you need to be able to live with it. Art is an emotional and sometimes financial investment, so make it work for you!<\/p>\n Photography is another magnificent art form. It\u2019s as diverse as contemporary and classical art and if you prefer the rawness of real life to a painted or imagined scene, you have lots of options. Photographers exhibit their works in the same way that painters and sculptors do. Interior Design Ideas to Play With<\/strong><\/p>\n I find that deciding how to display a work of art is a skill in itself, with the need to balance the style and size of a picture with the room around it.<\/p>\n Choosing the right frame, or deciding to forego a frame entirely, is essential. It should complement the artwork\u2019s style and size. Sometimes this can work in surprising ways; a small black and white photograph might look unassuming by itself but placed in a large monochrome frame, becomes the centre of attention.<\/p>\n You can also incorporate multiple artworks for an eclectic look.
