Next year I think bright colours will slowly be replaced by more\nmuted hues, and we\u2019ll see more of a relaxed bohemian vibe. This is especially important\nwith the prevalence of identikit new build homes.&nbsp; <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Rattan and Wicker\nFurniture<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\"><figure class=\"aligncenter\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"700\" height=\"486\" src=\"http:\/\/www.clairstrong.co.uk\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/12\/Rattan-Cabinet.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-3117\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.clairstrong.co.uk\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/12\/Rattan-Cabinet.jpg 700w, https:\/\/www.clairstrong.co.uk\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/12\/Rattan-Cabinet-300x208.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 700px) 100vw, 700px\" \/><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p style=\"text-align:center\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.made.com\/corrigan-woven-cabinet-oak-and-rattan\">Liana Rattan\nCabinet by MADE.com<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Texture seems to be the overwhelming theme of 2020, and this\nof course extends to furniture. We\u2019ll see lots of rattan and wicker being\nbrought in from the outdoors. But it\u2019s not the rattan of your childhood. The\nrattan furniture we love is light-toned, beautifully crafted and\never-so-chic.&nbsp; <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Ancient Classicism<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\"><figure class=\"aligncenter\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"500\" height=\"750\" src=\"http:\/\/www.clairstrong.co.uk\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/12\/greek-god-statue.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-3118\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.clairstrong.co.uk\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/12\/greek-god-statue.jpg 500w, https:\/\/www.clairstrong.co.uk\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/12\/greek-god-statue-200x300.jpg 200w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 500px) 100vw, 500px\" \/><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p style=\"text-align:center\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.rockettstgeorge.co.uk\/greek-god-apollo-statue-ornament.html\">Greek\nGod statue by Rockett St George<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Plates bearing Ancient Greek motifs, Roman busts,\ncolumn-shaped side tables&#8230; it can only mean one thing: ancient classicism is\nback in fashion.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>I love this trend because it takes the serious business of antiques\nand makes it playful and irreverent.
