Back in\nSeptember I\nwrote this post<\/a> detailing some of the fantastic art and craft workshops around\nBath. With the Easter Holidays coming up, I thought I\u2019d revisit Bath\u2019s\nwonderful maker scene and share even more great workshops, this time with a few\nfor the kids thrown in too.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Julia Davey<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Julia\u2019s\nbeautiful studio opened in October last year. It\u2019s based in Bear Flat just five\nminutes from the city centre and hosts a vast range of really interesting\nworkshops. You can try your hand at textile, paper and clay crafts, or take the\nkids along to one of their crafty Easter\nclubs<\/a>. The Holburne Museum<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The\nHolburne Museum has a wonderful collection of year-round workshops for adults,\nchildren and families. For the children there are frequent art clubs, exploring\ncreative activities inspired by the museum\u2019s collection. For adults there are fairly\nregular walk and draw events, which allow you to take in the city of Bath in a really\nunique way. The Edge<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Edge is\nthe University of Bath\u2019s own art gallery and creative hub. It\u2019s open to the\npublic and boasts a really exciting programme of events, workshops and classes.\nThese include dance classes, life drawing sessions, music tuition, family\ntakeover events and much more: https:\/\/www.edgearts.org\/<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Meticulous Ink<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Meticulous\nInk is a stationery design and print company based in Walcot Street. As well as\nproviding beautifully designed paper goods, the studio hosts a selection of\ncalligraphy, hand lettering and brush lettering workshops. Their workshops are\nsuitable for anyone over the age of 12, but children under the age of 16 must\nbe accompanied by an adult.
