IKEA are seemingly experts in just about every type of furniture. But there\u2019s one particular area where they really excel, and that\u2019s in small storage options. They have a vast range of stylish but affordable organisers for your desk, wardrobe, dressing table, bookshelves, kitchen cupboards, utility room… you get the picture. If you ever feel compelled to meticulously organise everything in your home, IKEA\u2019s got your back.<\/p>\n

Need more convincing? Here are just three of my favourite small storage solutions, currently available on IKEA\u2019s website<\/a>.<\/p>\n

IKEA has an impressive selection of storage boxes and baskets, some more attractive than others. I generally prefer natural braided baskets over plastic or cardboard boxes, they can be more expensive but they just look a little more luxe. The IKEA Fladis basket<\/a> is a great option. It\u2019s perfect for holding blankets, toys and firewood… you can even use it as a plant pot.<\/p>\n

There are only two items in the Pinnig collection<\/a>, and both are fantastic, if you like sleek industrialist furniture for your hallway or mud room. The coat rack with bench is a particular favourite of mine. It\u2019s got enough hooks for an entire family of coats and bags; shelves for shoes or storage baskets; and a bench to sit on when you\u2019ve had enough of trying to convince your youngest child to wear shoes.<\/p>\n

Transparent acrylic boxes<\/a> for your shoes, created for IKEA by fashion designer Chris Stamp. These boxes aren\u2019t just good-looking; they have a slew of other benefits too. For example: they are stackable (they have plastic feet to protect the box underneath). You can find what you\u2019re looking for with ease. They keep your shoes dust free. They turn your favourite shoes into display pieces. You can use them for items other than shoes.<\/p>\n

Bonus Item: The Raskog Trolley<\/strong><\/p>\n

Probably the most versatile of all of IKEA\u2019s small storage solutions, this humble trolley can be used in every room of the house.
